Support The Mav Market

Mercy College

For many students today, food insecurity is just a few missed paychecks away. A 2018 study by found that 48% of college students are food insecure and 75% of those are housing insecure. Add in the fact that tuition rates are going up while financial aid is going down, and it’s obvious that most college students and their families are feeling a very tight financial squeeze. That's why we created the Mav Market...

The Mav Market, Mercy's food pantry, is an inclusive and confidential environment where Mercy students, faculty and staff can get wholesome foods and personal items. We're here to help reduce the struggle of having to balance classes and being able to feed yourself or your family in and out of school.
